Southland (Area A)

College Hills (Area B)

College Hills is an established, family friendly neighborhood in central San Angelo with shady, tree-lined streets. These mostly ranch style homes were built from the 50s to the 80s with 3-4 bedrooms, though there are also townhomes. Within this area is Unidad Park, Red Arroyo Trails, Swim & Racquet Club, West Branch Library and Angelo State University.
Bentwood, Butler Farms, & Country Club (Area C)

These affluent neighborhoods boast quick access to Bentwood Country Club and San Angelo Country Club, including two premier golf courses, swimming pools, tennis and other recreation, as well as close proximity to Lake Nasworthy. Construction in this area began in the 1970s and continues today. Butler Farms has more of a high-class rural feel with large 1-5 acre lots and custom homes.
The Bluffs (Area D)
The Bluffs is a premier neighborhood built from the 1980s to present. The lower Bluffs has mostly ranch style homes similar to Southland. The upper Bluffs have more European designs. In this area you can find gorgeous views and San Angelo State Park, while still remaining cloe to shopping in Southwest San Angelo.
Santa Rita (Area E)

Santa Rita has some of the most historic and diverse homes in town and is named for Santa Rita oil well. Most of these homes were built from the 1920s - 1950s in a variety of architectural styles. The typical home is pier and beam and originally built with hardwood floors. Some tend to be smaller or have additions, and others are grand in size with large lots. In this area are Santa Rita Park, Sunken Gardens and the International Water Lily Collection. Being central, Santa Rita residents have close proximity to the river, Angelo State University and downtown.
Jefferson Heights (Area F)
Very close to San Angelo State Park and OC Fisher lake, this is a well-established, more affordable area of town with a diverse range in home style, size and age from around the 1950s to newer construction. This area is home to the San Angelo Soccer Fields and numerous parks, and is very close to Central High School and downtown.
Goodfellow Air Force Base (Area H)
Area H includes the Goodfellow Air Force Base as well as the Glenmore & Belaire Elemnentary School. You will find a range in age and style of homes, including many historic, larger homes and many with unique features and great landscaping. The wonderful Glenmore Park is nestled against the Concho River.
Fort Concho (Area I)
Homes in the Fort Concho area sit in proximity to our very own National Historic Landmark, Fort Concho, as well as the Farmer's Market, Railway Museum of San Angelo, and Fort Concho Elementary School. This is an affordable area in a central location next to downtown.
East Angelo (Area J)
East Angelo puts you near some larger employers, Quickstand Golf Course and a more industrial side of town. There is a large variaty of home styles and sizes.
Green Acres, Lakeview (Area L)

It's important to know when buying on the lake that lots may be owned or leased, which effects the price. Lake Nasworthy is a manmade lake built in the 1930s. It is named after John Nasworthy, who sold the city the land, and is the first manmade lake in Texas.
